Locally owned and operated since 1977, Crawford’s Pharmacy became a part of the Wolfenden Family Pharmacies in 1997. Since then, our highly trained and knowledgeable pharmacists and technicians have continued to offer a family atmosphere to our customers by providing personal care with the hometown service they have appreciated for more than three decades.
Madison Avenue Pharmacy
Locally owned and operated since opening its doors in November of 2000, Madison Avenue Pharmacy is the only independent pharmacy located in Athens. Our highly trained and knowledgeable pharmacists and technicians provide customers with the excellent customer service and personal care in the family atmosphere they deserve. Here, our customers are friends, not numbers.
Pharmacy Home Care of East Tennessee
Locally owned and operated, it is our goal to provide a safe, comprehensive, and convenient plan for medication management for patients and their caregivers. We take the hometown pharmacy service you expect and hand deliver it to you. There is no need for a planner or pillbox. Pharmacy Home Care individually packages each day's medications, and delivers them right to their door!
Our History Crawford's Pharmacy opened its doors in 1977, and was purchased by Mr. Wolfenden in July of 1997
In Novemeber of 2000, Mr. Wolfenden fulfilled his dream of owning a pharmacy in his hometown by opening Madison Avenue Pharmacy. To date, Madison Avenue Pharmacy is still the only locally and family owned pharmacy in Athens, where we still enjoy a strong community presence.
In June 2013, Pharmacy Home Care of East Tennessee (PHC) was launched in Cleveland, Tn. Recognizing the need for independent retail service in the long-term care communities, PHC strives for the best medication management available by using up-to-date, state-of-the-art technology. We currently are serving more than 10 communities and look forward to growth, as does the Wolfenden Family Pharmacies.
